Has anyone did a carbon clean on a n54

Has anyone did a carbon clean on there n54?
My car is on 96000kms and i feel its time after looking at some threads about cars with even less kms and the carbon buildup was intense.

Did you guys notice a big power difference up top in high rpms. Some guys have gained 54whp at 6630rpm.

356whp in a n54 with just cobb stage 1 and we all know cobb is not great. Just shows you what a Well maintained (carbon cleaned n54 can do

Did my first carbon clean back in 2013 when George Smooth was still running Carbon Doctor, see thread below: https://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=50144

Since then i have made sure both cars were always cleaned and kept clean. it is well worth the money spent and the results experienced, if you have a CD branch near you then make a booking.

ps. i haven't used CD since George sold it to Marchand but there is quite a few threads with feedback to reference.

Did a carbon clean on mine and was impressed. In my case the build up wasn't too bad, but the difference to the power delivery and smoothness of the engine was more than noticeable. Definitely would recommend this for all x35i owners.

Carbon clean done in 2014.
Slightly better fuel consumption and throttle response. No massive gains in the rev range were experienced but idling was smoother and so was power delivery.

Don't expect 54whp at redline is my advise , but do it and don't forget to insist manifold gaskets get replaced as well.

110k on the clock,car felt bit smoother afterwards

Did carbon clean with Marchand from Carbon Doctor around 135000km. Car seemed a little smoother. There was zero power gain (tested)
