Thats billybawbs car :) Apparently stood for a long while as well, could have resulted in sun damage to the leather which would have exasperated further damage.

:yuck: I also think there is something not right here, unless he loved to get in and out of the car more than drving it.

and the condition of those door panels... wtf..

even if you look at the drivers seat on the left.... way too much damage for that mileage...

For the price it doesnt really matter if its done 250000kms.

If the body and paint is as clean as he says then its probably a fair price.

I like this cabbie, he will probably accept late R70's for the car, its a VERY popular colour combo, have that interior recovered, the bolsters still look good, have it professionally polished and you could have a R120- R130k E36 M3.

Well, the seats took alot of wear, the body and engine seems to be in good nick. Apart from test driving the car, best is have the car evaluated at AA or something. Maybe the seats are just badly worn for being neglected and the mileage might be real. Difficult to really judge from pics!!!

:nonono:How easy is it to manipulate the mileage on our cars? This is not the first that we spotted with questionable mileage here!

He spent a heap of cash on it very fast, so I think he did what I did, overspend.

I would be interested to hear what was done to it, the price is not bad at all even with the interior like that.

I saw it earlier this morning and it didn't feel right. The mileage, the price, the interior... just doesn't make sense

Price seems fair for the condition.

Also based on how members ridicule members cars, i also don't think i would advertise any of my cars on here.

To be honest I don't blame him one bit for not advertising it here. he was really excited when he first got it and to become a member of the BMW club, and everything he tried to do or discuss on the forum the guys tore to shreds, everybody gave him such a hard time it's probably put him off BMW for life.

I think you guys are just finishing the BMW experience off nicely for him with the comments in this thread.

We need to learn to be a little more supportive of new members and rather try provide some constructive help as opposed to just shoving our own views on them.

Im sure he was probably not fully aware of the maintenance costs of that car and how much needed to be done. He has probably been forced to sell and let someone else try and get her right.

Bob is a valuable contributor to the forum.... I would rather like to see him keep the car.
