seriously though, what was the reason the lip came off, i always worry about these lips that have to be screwed on or clipped onto the bumper.

The clips loosened, which caused the spoiler to sag, which caused it to catch some air, which forced it off.

It's my mistake for not using screws to mount but rather the stock clips.
