320d, brilliant. Town driving average, around 17km/L mark. Drive down to the coast, Durbs; March this year, myself, wife, and 2 kids, plus full luggage. 24km/L. Eco pro, using speedo cruise often. GPS speed around 120km/h to 125km/h mostly. Drive back up, stopped over in the bergs, and averaged 20km/L, when back home. This was without resetting the values.
Have the 5’er just about 3 weeks now. Home to office in the week. And some weekend, just local, driving around. Finding her a bit on the heavier side. Averaging 12.6km/L. A bit of spirited driving in between. Not much, really hard-driving though. Don’t know on the open yet. So not as per manufacturers figures thus far, for local driving. I wonder if it’s possibly the stage 1 ecu tune, and stage 3 XHP box. I spoke to Alex just generally when I got the car, and he said to swing past for an update, no charge. 320d is stock.
Coming from the 7R though, where I was averaging 9km/L, local, 12.6km/L on the 5’er is not too shabby. 7R was stock.
Will monitor going along.
