My introduction.
Name is Zaheer. From Jhb.
Joined the forum recently, and got into a 535d now in June. 2012 model. F10. M Sport. Currently on 119XXX KM’s . There was incidentally a thread on my wheels, on the forum by Alex @MadnessMotorsport in 2019. Alex did a stage 1 software upgrade, and stage 3 XHP for the previous owner. No hardware done. Car overall in very good nick. Just a few scratches on the front bumper; respray to be done. And some odds and ends for now, need to be done, like undercarriage covers by the rear wheels need replacing.
Also need to find keys for the detachable towbar. Any advice? Tried a locksmith known for this type of work. Said that it’s possible to pick the lock, with some difficulty. As lock is small, and also space to work small. So advised that the rear bumper will need to be removed to gain easier access.
Also took advantage of ZF special, and did gearbox service, together with diff oil change last week.
Got out of a Golf 7R before this purchase, and have a 320d F30 for the past, just under 5 years (missus and kiddies wheels). Also took advantage of ZF special on the 3 series.
Will drop a message, when advice needed.
