It's my car :=):

Thanks for caring and keeping an eye out for a fellow fanatic Iceman

It's a work in progress at the moment. I'm taking extremely good care of it and keeping my eye on the work to be done. Thanks for the tips

The "mod" is just a temp measure on the pipes so the fluid doesn't leak out. I know the production manager there and he just secured it so I can keep ATF in. The pump on the car is an E46 item.

I am having the pipes and gaskets replaced, I've already had them quote me the part numbers etc. Car is due to be steam cleaned to clear up what is left of the fluid leak so I can see what and where.

Thats good

Just an update gents. I bought the replacement parts, booked the car in at Goch & Cooper and having everything sorted. Will be right as rain soon :)

Guys I don't think its the 330i you guys are thinking of. Iceman has actually met the owner of that car and they have "driven next to each other at the same speed while aiming for a point in the distance that would bring the end of their jourey together."

On another note, he also knows a few things about the e46 so if he says the e36 powersteering pump works then I'll take his word for it.

Yep.
Flat back pump are wayyyy better then the round back one fitted to allmost all E46's. E36 pump does work on E46..
Like he mentioned, you just need to change the piping going to the stearing rack.
