F20 M135i LCI - MT?

Hey guys,

It seems the F20 M140i only comes in the 8 speed Steptronic option.
Can anyone confirm if the M135i LCI/facelift was ever available in a manual option? I can only seem to find the launch model in MT

Hey. Im not sure about the SA model options but there is definitely a manual M140i in other markets around the world. As for the F20 M135i I dont think they came to SA in manuals as BMW hardly sold any manuals for the first M135i. It seems they are discontinuing manuals for many models, including the M3/M4. VW is also doing this with current Golf GTI Golf R.

M2 is currently the only performance BMW available in manual in SA. M240 was available in manual until last year sometime. Not sure about M140

M2 is currently the only performance BMW available in manual in SA.

You can still (custom) order the F8x M3/4 in manual too.

I actually don't know... I see there is no option for a manual on the BMW configurator. Perhaps a few manuals were brought in for the older models? :dunnoanymore:

You could definitely get a Mx35i manual, Mx40i i think only available in Auto.

The B58 is so smooth tho - IMHO its better suited to the 8 Speed Auto application.
