F10 M5 misfiring on load

Hi Guys, I hope someone can assist. So my F10 M5 picked up an issue where it would misfire in one cylinder (number 8) at high boost at around 6200rpm in 3rd/4th gear WOT pulls. Initially thought it would be the usual diagnosis, plugs, coils, then the injector. After changing the plugs and coils, the issue persisted. My next move was to have a mechanic switch the injectors on cylinder 8 and cylinder 5. During this time a member here helped me notice that the car was under boosting on bank 2 on the JB4. After the injectors were swapped over, I thought I would just remove the JB4 and hopefully be able to start diagnosing the boost issue, however the car started behaving horribly and would fish bite and give the DTMAL as soon as you went near half throttle in any gear at low rpms. I found out that the injectors had to be recoded if they were switched and just asked the mechanic to switch it back to how it initially was however this made the problem even greater. Is there anyway I can diagnose this and sort the issue out?
I would appreciate any help possible. Sorry for the long post

So

The injectors have a tiny code on them (I assume based on their actual tested flow rates vs. resistances or something like that). These values need to be entered and coded to the DME if I remember correctly or the car will not fuel properly. It is done with ISTA+

They can also diagnose spray pattern and injector efficiency from the tool.

If the car was under boosting on one bank there might be an intake manifold gasket leak (seen this replaced on a few cars), turbo issue or boost pipe leaking.

What is the mileage?

I've been trying to get someone with ista to diagnose for me, dealerships are being a bit shitty and want me to book it in for late next week. The car is doing 100000km now but the engine, turbo and manifolds were replaced 4000km ago

Were these brand new from BMW/covered under plan or used/refurbed?

What happened to the original out of interest?

These were brand new covered under plan. The first motor actually broke a ring on one of the cylinders :thumbdo:

4000 or 40000? If this was done on plan 4000km ago, why do you mention a mechanic (seemingly with limited knowledge of this car) now working on it and attempting to troubleshoot yourself instead of BMW. There should be a warranty on the work regardless of the car being close to/out of plan now. Was the motor run in and run-in service completed? No issues up until then?

A couple of questions:
1. Any datalogs?
2. You running a BEF with the Jb4?
3. Does the misfire happen with Jb removed?

1. Yes he has a couple
2. Yes he was running a custom one, then changed to bootmod3 to see if the issue goes away.
3. It does now, it seems that the issue is worsening.

I suspect it might be boost solenoid, as bank 1 boosts 25psi while bank 2 would boost 13psi.

4000km. I was referred by someone to a bmw mechanic because I initially thought the issue was a bit minor but I've eventually reached the point where I'm bringing it back to stock and sending it into the dealer. Run-in on the motor and the run in service was done without any issues and the car was running perfectly. It all went to shit over night after I had my clutches changed so I'm hoping they just damaged a canister or wiring or something like that.
