Looks like a really good job, but I also prefer the original colour. It's one of the things I like about the individuals. The colours available on the individual packages set them apart from other bm's.

What you say is so true, I also love the original individual colour, think it might have even been one of the reasons I chose this car above others when I initially decided to buy it!

Until I send it for a professional respray, I'm enjoying experimenting with the Plastidip, it is a great product that does exactly what it advertises to do and also looks unique IMO. I might even change the colour again a few months from now, thats the beauty of it ...

And on individual colour and setting it apart...well, how more individual do you want as its now...

Every man for himself I guess...

Personally, I love the Matte Blue.....

How many litres did you use!? Looks better in person im sure... i think an aggressive drop would do it good. Nice job

Nope, rattle cans wont do for such a big surface.

You buy it in Gallons or 5 litle drums from the importers....then thin it down for a spray gun with thinners, and spray it on in layers... My car has seven layers on, the more layers, the easier it is to peel when you want to remove it.

dipyourcar.com is THE best resource for this.

Saw a 135i dipped exactly the same colour and that.
Not my style, but if done properly I'm sure you can pull it off (hopefully) :fencelook:
But, if you happy, then it's all good and well dude!
