What times did u do at Z?

No Idea.... LOL.... Didn't take lap times, had some brake issues first time out, which I think (hope) should be resolved now,
Plan was to take it out yesterday but got a power-steering pipe leaking which I also want to upgrade with a larger cooler while Im busy with it.
But will take lap times next time!

Ive removed all the steering pipes and had a set build with a better cooler for the steering fluid

Also had the steering wheel covered, looks and feel great!
Then also changed the wheels with new 255/40R17 Bridgestone semi-slicks!

Did a N54 Intake manifold change, had it on the dyno with the N52 manifold before the mod, but still need to go back for a dyno run to see the graph with the N54 Manifold.
Car feels more responsive above 4000rpm but almost the same on low rpms...
However need to get it on the dyno to get a true reading if it was worth while!

Had my first race Saturday @ Zwartkops!
The 330i ran like a dream, came 3de in class E overall for the day, with best lap time 1:15.9 - keeping in mind that 1:15.5 is going to class D.
Had a bit of fuel starvation during the last laps of the second race, need to test but underestimated how heavy the BMW is on the track, dont think its serious.
Things to do before the next race:
Need a bit extra front and rear camber
BMW need a dieet, some extra stuff and steel to remove to reduce the weight.
Although Ive got some other ideas... Im a firm believer not to carry our to many changes at once!

O yes, and need to secure my camera bracket... or get a better bracket!

Did u weigh the entire door?
Would love to know the weight of an actual door that hasn’t been stripped

My composite doors weight 5kg each excluding the mirror. And remember it’s a coupe door so a frame was added

Thats very light, checked a rear door this weekend which I've cut out so the max, with a polycarb window its 12kg. Its Basically bare frame with door lock, top rail and poly carb window

You lucky, 2 hands down the mineshaft.

I had to do it one handed as my 5th gear kept popping out mid corner so had to hold it in gear. At least new short shifter being fitted tomorrow!!

Flip that Turbo power is hectic down the straights
