I drove a M47, got it when it had 150000 on the clock, never a single issue! Super car but im sure the N47 should be better! The torque was just too adictive! only thing i changed was rear tires and oil ever 10000km!

Hey Man i have the N47 motor with software and the thing is an absolute beast and pleasure to drive.

it has a few wear and tear parts that needs to be sorted out but i have done almost 15k kms with it and only issue i had was a cracked rim and faulty wheel speed sensor but for someone like me that is an aggressive driver the car is not showing any signs of giving up soon.

bought the car on 144xxx kms and its approaching 160k now but i can see me driving it until it cant go anymore

Now the bold part above I can attest too. Got mine on 19000kms and drove it till 126000km...everyday it got a smashing BUT a smashing did it also hand out with no issues. I changed the rear tyres and brakes when out of plan for the 26000kms, not even the discs...that car was solid!

And Andre has RKmotion on it, mine has ChipLogic and then OBDWorx and it handed out Pk's for Africa!:cartel:

The 320d showed me just how well built BMWs are!

Howzit man.

Don't stress about the tyres. Rear tyres is just around R4k each if you go runflats lol.
I have mine now for just over a year. Done 22k km's with it. Love it although I wont mind a 330d as you get power hungry real quick trust me! I did SW first and said that's where I'm stoping. Switch over to RK Motion and added dp same time. Then you start to appreciate the car. 490nm ain't a lot but it's enough to get the car a little tail happy when you accelerate. Adding water methanol next week plus gearbox sw. My full exhaust will happen in Feb.

Maintenance side of things. I bought a lady car. The lady that owned my car is 65years old today. So she was 59. Only thing that was wrong with the car is the front bumper was resprayed and the front head light replaced at one of those BMW workshops.
I have serviced it once. Doing my next service now when I come back from holiday.
I bought new boost housing seals as they sweet a bit at the cooler side. Nothing major but i dont want a boostleak. That's R805 without fitment. I'm a diy guy so will fit it myself.

Other than that it's a awesome car. Been playing around the last couple of night to scearch for a replacement but only other beemer I will replace it with is a f30 330d. So not happening any time soon.

Buy it, have it checked that everything nice and healthy, then dala mods lol
