The weekend we went to betlehem to visit some friends. Ended up having such a blast with this car. I forgot how much I missed the m3.

We also ended up going to clarens and what a stunning place! I am definitely going there again soon.

So I found myself doing a bit of an impulse buy. Wasn't cheap but at least I know that its interchangeable between the entire fleet bar the m5.

I still have to clean them up. They are almost in better shape than the ones I have.

Im planning on redying the M3 seats like I did the M5s.

I cleaned and weighed them today. Near as damnit to 25kg each.

I'm fetching the M3 tonight or tomorrow then I'll post pics of the install. I'm very excited about this I must say. I do love the M3 seats dearly but I will re-purpose them elsewhere

Following a nice clean up and proper respray I'll recycle the M3 seats similarly to the M5 seats.

Collected the M3 today after having the timing adjusted. At long last I now have both S54s in good mechanical shape

Now I can focus on cosmetics for a change.

They are soooo comfy the M3 seats weigh in at 30kg each and the z4m seats at 25kg each. A little dissapointing weight saving wise but im still chuffed.

Decided to have a go at rejuvinating the worn bolsters a bit before trying to source other seats or having them re trimmed.

The Z4M was not correct and the M3 somehow as well. I don't have the details however Bahnstormer sorted both out and I am now officially happy with both cars.

A Very expensive office chair. MD house has M6 seats still available. I was lucky to snap up these while I was there
