Not quite yet. Waiting for Gary's shop to open so he can write the latest file to the car. Im struggling to flash it with my laptop and bmwflash tool. Installed a new windscreen wiper cover as well in the meantime.

I recently had an urge to convert the car back to stock and sell the charger and enjoy the car as an 'economical' daily. So this happened in the meantime...

I had the same thoughts many times with that exact car but I just couldn't imagine
Driving her without the charger, I'm not sure how many of the guys that follow this blog have ever been in that Little Monster, but fun is a serious understatement. The difference a charger makes to an engine is totally addictive . Wheels look good should change the look but must say I like the current wheelset you have on her too.

You my friend have come so far with the chargers and now the switch stopping now would not be doing all your hard work and long hours justice. I also want to see if the ESS is going to be so different from the local charger she had on .

Enjoy her boy , there are still a lot of days I miss her

Nee sies man...

Go look for MSSFlasher, it'll cost you $60, but trust me on this one...

You are struggling with BMWFlash cause you hit the flash counter limit. It wont allow you to do more than 30 flashes. And doing 30 flashes tuning a car is very easy to do. Now you can either bench flash the thing to zero that flash counter or you can use mssflasher. I'm on about 60 or so flashes myself now fiddling and faffing around with the car.

Thx Meneer

Gertinator reset the counter for me so no worries there. I also have the galetto now thanks to Shaun JVN so just need to get the time to flash the bad boy and get it on with.

John at Leo Haese was as helpful as always and they did brake fluid flush and airbag recall on the stahl grey baby.

Im very impressed with their service as always and looking forward to my next visit.

Oh and in case anyone was wondering the car has been driving stock for some time now.

Im using it as a daily and the mileage is racking up quickly now.

Despite all the diesels I've owned this is officially the best Daily I've owned ever!

WHERE IS THE ESS KIT!!!!!!?????!!!!!

It's boxed up and in the study. Along with the Rotrex Charge cooler kit.

Believe me I'm tempted to fit one of them back again. But with all the highway driving it seems a bit pointless.
