E46 FL Front Bumper Parts

Hey guys

So yesterday I decided to check up the wife's old car and make sure everything is still fine as it's been sitting for the last 6 odd months doing nothing. Was going to the garage around the corner to check oil etc and then this happens barely 3kms from home:

Taxi decides jump a traffic light, and thankfully I saw it in time to brake. Otherwise I think I would've been seriously injured. Doesnt seem like there's any structural damage, car drives fine, no weird noises etc. Don't know how the damage ended up being minimal.

In any case, I cancelled insurance on it about 2 months after the Mrs got her new car and stopped using this a daily. So I'd like to know what would be all the body parts that I would need to get her back in shape again if possible? And also if possible where would I be able to get those parts apart from a Bmw dealership?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Find a silver E46 Facelift at a scrap yard and buy the front bumper complete with all its pieces if you can get them to give it to you as a complete unit and in silver, all you need to do is bolt it on . The rest isn't expensive , looks like your inner fender liners got damaged as well as the foglights , im sure you could get that from the donor car as well . No need to buy new unless you cant find it.

I cant see any structural damage to your car . Its just the bumper skin and surrounding parts that looks to have been damaged and come off .

Are there no black pieces on the old bumper skin that you can salvage and reuse?

Try a scrap yard with facelift parts , you wont go wrong.

Shop around the yards! you might be pleasantly surprised at the different costs , I notice standard bumpers are not in high demand for our cars . Most people are running after the sport bumpers . I like my standard bumpers though!

Awesome thank you! Will definitely give some scrap yards a look this weekend. Unfortunately there arnt any of the surrounding black pieces to salvage. It seemed like the bumper got hooked onto some part of the taxi and then it got ripped out.

And I agree, the standard bumpers look just fine to me, so going to stick with that!
