Yea .. I was quite relieved... I will drive it for a month or two, I will most likely sell it in january or february..
I havn't got the engine back from engineering yet, they still busy with it... Only took it on wednesday so thats to be expected I guess... so we will see when I get it back, maybe nextweek. I'm really itching to get this car running again.. I will post some pictures in the week, kinda moody today for some reason...
neways, more details soon.

I think the VAC replacement is basically just a pulley that they change, I think the vac has 4bolts instead of one. The problem normally is the pulley shears off the oilpump shaft because the splines are very very thin...I was lucky that my bolt just came off.. but its a common problem on the M54's..
I also heard somewhere about harmonic issues on the M54, but I am really not sure what its about, it could be a myth... I'm not 100% sure.. I'll check on the net abit, maybe something is up.. its all possible I guess.
Thanks Clutchy :thumbsup:clutchplate said:negative, you don't have to.. just be real carefull not to mess anything inside the enige.. give it a REAL good clean before you take the cover off
