Hi guys,

I need to replace the disks on my e46 325i soon, I have a set of e46 330i front disk would I be able to fit the 330i's disks only(so 330i disks with 325i brake caliper etc.)?

Thanks

Not sure, the 330i's disks are bigger.. I am doing a complete 330 brake uprade on my 325ci, so if you wait a while you can get the disks off my car, they are still good. PM me to discuss. No payment required.

Thanks Herman

As to the 328i and 325i discs I have know idea, I have the sport pack rims on my car and I think I should be able to fit the front discs but not sure about the caliper etc. The rear is not a simple fit because there is a pressed/formed plate that sits behind the discs which won't allow you to just fit the bigger discs.(unless you grab the grinder:nonono:)

I am just not sure about the calipers, the 330i discs are a fair bit larger in diameter. Just thought I have the discs might as well try and use them.

You will have to replace the calipers as well with the ones from the 330i. Straight swap. But you cannot use the 330i discs with the 325i calipers. And yes all of that will fit behind your current wheels, if they are 17". :) Have a look at my thread where I upgraded the calipers and discs. 135i calipers now on my 325i with 330i BMW Performance discs. :)

Hey Dawald,

Here is a snap of my front discs, there is virtually no lip on them.

Just look after yours for now.

Dewald, when I had a look at your car yesterday, it seems you just need to replace the pads. The discs are still fine.
