E46 330i Decat

I put E36 328 branches on my E46 330 to get rid of the manifold cats and removed the exhaust cats and Roddy from Powerflow replaced the section with an X-Pipe. Sounded so sweet, was only slightly deeper than stock. And felt the power difference in the higher rev range.

I have to be honest, I love the e46 m3 but it’s biggest letdown for me is the exhaust sound. I have not owned one for it to grow onto me.

Here’s a comparison video I came across:

I never got the fuss over the E46 330i stock exhaust note before this, I watched that video and I gasped as soon as it was revved. It sounds GLORIOUS!!raise:

I had 528 maifolds, 2 x 300m round boxes in place of thr middle cats, replaced the 200mm square box to 300mm and replaced the rear box with a 500m long oval. All Cowley boxes.

No stock 330i exhaust came close to that awesome exhaust note from the M54B30.

And, I Even gained 4wkw on RBTS dyno.

Also, Gizmos TNT setup was pretty good as well especially in the tunnel in the Reading interchange tunnel

there are two sets of manis available.. E46 323i and 325i without cats. can these be used for the 330i?

I only know the of the E36/9 x28 manifolds that work well.

i think because the others had cats but these don't have cats so should def be better than the 330i manis

from looking at 328i mani posts...these look like 328i manis even though poster says 325i...im trying to buy them

picked up my 328i manifolds for R500! very happy ..going to remove other cats as well.
