Hi Guys
I have browsed around quite a bit and browsed other forums as well with little luck. I have purchased a "new" second hand prop shaft for my E46 5 speed manual 320d. I have also bought a brand new centre carrier bearing just in case. Is there anything I should know, any do's and don'ts that I should be aware of when installing the prop shaft. I have heard horror stories about props coming off due to improper installation or crazy vibration breaking other goodies.
The reason for replacing is a worn u-joint which I was told by a number of people cannot be replaced on these prop shafts.
I have replaced a few props on bakkies before but I recon my Beemer would require a bit more finesse. Any advise will be much appreciated.
Thanks
