My E39 was supposed to be sold as part of a deal that went sour, non-the-less I'm in no rush to sell it :inlove:

Fetching it later fresh from a Detail

The E39 is a lovely looking motor, and is okay to drive.

Bought my E39 from a fellow forum member, it is still a beast! Sadly has a problem, love affair with petrol stations, needs to busy too often.
With “only” 222000km’s on the clock

Dad is currently using it, while his E24 is been “restored”

Looking for a E39 Touring as a second car later this year, for dad to use during the week
(Would love to own a 540 touring (only 3 in SA – there is one in East London))

E39 feels like a tank/lorry to drive after the Z4.

I still prefer the feed back of the drive of my E34 over the E39 , both are 540i’s

What I’ve read of reviews on the E39 the 528I is the better one the bunch

Quite right my E39 is a fantastic GT, offers more than most cars going R500k, but the E34 is one for the driver.

But...but an E34 with M-Pars looks much better.... :pfft: :sneaky:

Difficult to argue in the face of such photographic evidence.

Time for me to let go of my E39. Need some one to buy as i am looking at 2008 E90 330d auto and need to sell my 530d auto. Have had three E39's at one stage (528i auto, 540i auto and the 530d) and must say the 528 is a very nice car but the 530d is the nicest of all as the torque and economy is a winner. I always felt guilty when driving the 540 especially when putting foot down, but it still is one of the best cars in the world, bar the M5 of course. For me though the 530d does everything nearly as well with economy thrown in. So, as you probably know, it is for sale. This is one car that i could get into and drive to Gauteng or Durbs without worries as it is in very good condition and has never let me down. So, make me an offer! (See my post in the For Sale section for more info)
