Thank you to all that posted pics and info about your vehicles. This thread is taking shape slowly but surely.Just shows what fine examples that still exist on our SA roads.

It would be so awesome to get all these BMW's together for a photoshoot.

Keep it going guys :ty::ty::rollsmile::rollsmile:

Hi fanatics

let me express my appreciation of the first five, what a car:inlove:.

i'm Mamporo, home is in Phokoane in Limpopo, its a village outside Groblersdal, but now based in Evander, and glad that i have joined the right forum, well my initial plan was to do an e12 or e28 m30b32 conversion because i came across a 733i that had an auto transmission issues,so i bought the whole car and started looking for a body, up until 3 weeks back while i was in Trichadt just next to Secunda and saw an e12 528i in a satisfying state and did not waste any time because of its rarity especially in this condition and suspended the m30b32 conversion.

its a 82 model 528i with 218 km, well i have tried to get the history of the car with no success BUT the previous owner took great care of the car i must say. all the electronics are functional, the car is clean, still standard, wheels, radio, etc. its got some trolley dents on the front left door and front right fender also has a dent,a small rust spot on the right rear door, stone chips on the bonnet, it sounds like a military helicopter.

here are some pics on my way home today, tires bit dirty due to road works

Hi Guys As Promised Here Is my E12/8 1985 528i
I Have Had A small accident in the car lost control on a very slippery corner and collided with a robot so am currently searching for a new E12/8 door drivers side rear door, Luis Had got me in touch with one of his contacts and I bought an E12 door but the inside skin is different and it needs modified but I'd rather fit a proper E12/8 door rather than mod the E12 door

this is the Aftermath of the Accident

On the Plus Side I have Just Got A New set Of Mags for the Car

Wow now that is a fine example you have buddy.Regarding the lowering of your car my advice is go the route I did.The guys heated up my original springs and compressed. No issues at all and I still get the original comfort and ride.

Howzit guys

I have waited for sometime now but the feature on my car has finally been released on the Sabeemer website .A big thank you to Shiraz from Sabeemer and for allowing me to be apart of your passion for this brand.

Hi guys

I'm Burooj, the (currently not-so proud) owner of a 1988 525e...
To shorten an otherwise long story, I'm looking to sell her due to lack of cashflow/time to complete work on what I planned as an epic project.

As I'm posting from my dad's tablet, I find it difficult to add pics (still trying to figure this thing out), but please have a look at my thread below... She does still look exactly as in the pics, and would take minimal work to repair, for those eager to spend some time/money to fix her up, as she is still driving, albeit with an unpleasant misfire.

I would appreciate any comments /feedback you guys have, and all contact details are in my thread, for those who are interested.

e28 525e for sale
