Dealership refuses to repair vehicle

Dude do you hate your car that much that you took it to Supertech? I won't recommend them to my worst enemy. Seriously. I have such a hate for them it's not even funny with a long list of bad experiences to back it up.

For after sales service without a doubt take it to Forsdicks or SMG Durban.
Forsdicks is close to me so I go there, Brian or Rutesh are best to have your car booked in with and make sure you ask that Stephen attends to any faults you complained about. That oke is a diagnostic genius even when it comes to minor things like rattles.

Shocking but here is my take on this issue.

This is poor workmanship by BMW Factory and should be sorted out by BMWSA. Call BMWSA, speak to another person and make a case against their factory poor workmanship. They are the ones who will speak to your dealer. If you have to, write them an email.

This is the same process I follow when I complained about my lemon E90 325i and also issues about High Pressure Fuel Pump on my 335i.

I dont see how they can refuse to work on the car though. It doesnt make any sense, nor does BMW SA Condoning it. Very odd.

I would throw my toys out in a BIG way.
I did recently, went as far as going to BMW SA and causing a bit of a ruckus. End of it all, walked out with new brakes! :D

Ok guys I decided to come on board here.

I posted some of your commends from this forum in a group that I have discussions with bmw sa and one of my social colleagues responded to inform me that she will def help in this regard as well as help this matter to be investigated by bmw sa. So I hereby request the original op of this thread to pm me if you are intersted to get, something going and I will provide you with the detail, on how to proceed.

There will be an announcement soon on the forum on what im up to at this stage with bmw sa but all I can say is patiently wait so I can establich the forum firts with them and then soon will be able to awnser all your issue related to bmw sa.

O on a side note this is with blessing from the forum owner himself. So its legit. :thumbs:,

Thanks Dippies, I have sent you a email and I would like to further this case, I really appreciate any assistance as this is unacceptable on the part of the dealership and worse was to note that BMWSA could do nothing, I spoke to Lawrance Titus from there, I have had issues last year with a previous F30 that I bought brand new and struggled with the knocking noise on the suspension, after emailing The MD of BMWSA and MANY fights etc I had my car taken back after 10 months. :thumbs: so I am prepared to fight this one as well, just so that he dealership can be disciplined, not that I'm desparate to deal with Supertech, this is a case of principal. Thanks again.

Thanks bro, it's now booked with Forsdicks.. But I still feel that upertch should be brought to book, I called their service manager Steven, left many messages for him to call but to no avail. I have always been surprised at his shocking customer service, but I guess he wouldn't have a clue on how to help me even I'd he did call :roflol:

Trust me I've learnt my lesson, will never step back into that dealership again :yuck:

Just a update guys, a guy from BMWSA called me stating that he contacted management from Supertech and according to them they loose money when they do work on my car:nonono: this is because they either don't do the work properly or that they damage sumtyn in the process, so it's because of their incompetence to repair correctly the 1st tym they have reached this decision, wat a load of crap. A warning to other ppl however.

BMWSA's response is more concerning to me. supertech seem to be a law unto themselves.

they are rated 5/5 for sales and 4.5/5 for aftersales on the BMW website

At least the shoe shine and massage chair service work, thats about as far as customer service goes with them :rollsmile::rollsmile:

On this point I am also guilty of giving them good CSI ratings, and this WAS ONLY DUE TO service I received from Neville:thumbs: ( service advisor) but if it were due to other ppl ie service manager or their DP this would NEVER have been the case. Neville always tried his best to keep me happy, they do have some good ppl that work there but they have incompetent managers and in most cases these guys hands r tied.
