Sorry about that gents. Will take a proper exhaust vid when I get the bootlid back.
Sent it in to my good friend, Shane from Orca Autobody.

@"Jive_m135i" how about a sound clip ?
I've been trying since yesterday to get some vids up but this Tapatalk app is absolutely useless. And now I can't access the forums on my laptop :/ will continue trying though.

Some updates:
Fitted the custom fabricated CSL Bootspoiler, compliments the roof spoiler really well. Fabrication and paintwork done by Shane at Orca Autobody & Restoration.

Recovered the steering wheel after sourcing the cover from @Danny@DSCmotorsport, efficient order and pick up, thanks again Danny!

Been trying to keep her nice and clean while in daily use.

Had a spirited drive through to Harties for the weekend and engine still running 100s.
Will get exhaust vids soon.

Xenon Retrofitted, sourced from Seedat Motorstyle.

Switched out the old and horrible Halogen headlight bulbs while retaining the original halogen projectors.

The wiring inside the headlights units were in terrible condition. It was clearly visible that previous owner took short cuts as bolts were missing from assembly and baked wires were just covered in insulation tape.
Rewired both headlight units with some new wire and abit of soldering.

The Xenon kit consisted of a ballast, the xenon bulb and a capacitor to cancel any dash warnings. The back of the headlight was drilled open to allow passage for ballast wiring.

Loving this build, will you be changing the lights around the car from amber to clear/euro style lights? The originals look good but that orange doesn't sit well with the paint of the car, I feel like euro lights will modernize it and make the lines of the car look much better, this thread makes me look for 325ci's every 5 minutes  :smilebounce:  keep up the good work

Thank you gents, appreciate the kind words.

Gonna do the iced out look right at the end of the build I think, the current lights work well and there are other parts of the car that need attention, next up I think is the sway bar assemblies and rubber beadings

I've seen quite a few 325ci's go for sale at R100k + ... silly money for a car with a book of R60k

Still trying to beat down the long list of components that have to be redone but everything with time.

Its becoming rare and rare by the day, good examples will fetch those prices, especially the M-Sport versions. Actual costs quickly escalate to more than R100k, say you buy one at R85k, then do refresh programme on it (suspension, cooling, rubbers) you’ll easily sit with R120-R130k costs on it.

You car looks great, and keep the updates coming.

Here is mine, one of the best DAILY cars (nimble, great handling, reasonably lighter on fuel vs 330, get 8.0-9.0l depending on driving style, mostly Alberton/Sandton trips)

Beautiful example of a Ci @VinceM, thank you for blessing my thread and I appreciate the kind words.

Getting new daily rims today, couldn't deal with the style 44s (childhood resentment LOL). Also gives me piece of mind not running stretch tyres on the daily.

Will post as soon as I get alignment done.

Swapped the 44's for BMW Individual Styling 96 rims.
Sorted alignment out at Hi-Q Dastek, good bunch of guys and they know what they're doing.

Sending it in for alignment gave me a chance to look under the car. Sway bar assemblies look in good condition with slight play at the back but no tears on any of the bushings.

Brake system looks and feels like it needs a refresh at this point.

These 17's look nice and different with added peace of mind :D

I swopped them forever.
They look much better on the other guys car anyway.
I've never liked Styling 44's ever since I was a kid. I didnt really like the Styling 96's either but I had never seen it on a coupe and now my mind has changed
