That being said, the drive home was relaxed, although I was stuck in Sandton traffic most of the way. It was a 25km trip from Peter's bat cave near William Nicol road to my Secret lab in Bedfordview (just off Gillooly's interchange near Eastgate shopping mall).

I had to sit in the traffic from Sandton all the way to the N3 and all the way on the N3 home. This is the consumption I got...



I also saw a similar drop in consumption with my supercharged 323i when driving relaxed. But when I put my foot down, it was the total opposite. More tests to come...

Hey Elton... that was me... ha ha ha... she whistles damn loud when I'm off throttle and the blow off valve is venting to atmosphere. Sorry if I made you think something was wrong with your car.

Dude. You're E36 is beautiful!!! Love that colour. I was thinking as I followed you, damn, I haven't seen an e36 M3 on the road in Bedfordview/Bruma area in forever. Was wondering if it was someone on the forum. Glad to see you're on here.

We will be installing a new pulley tomorrow and I shall post pics of the new size.

We shall also need to get a smaller belt so that is likely to be interesting.....update later

The new pulley is obviously the smaller pulley. Thanks to Sherwin at Xcede for the pulley.

Did I mention that the new pulley that we installed is the smaller of the 2 pulleys?
It equally implies that we shall need a shorter belt which we will have to source.
