A new pic and video update.
First, some pics of this awesome blow off Valve. It is the Tial Q 50mm, with 2psi supercharger spring. Active Autowerke use two Greddy style blow off valves on their manifold, mainly because a single greddy BOV does not move enough air. This two BOV setup is used on their latest Gen 6 and Gen 7 manifolds. I only have a single blow off valve on my manifold. Thus, for me to move enough air out, I needed a bigger BOV. Tial Q 50mm is the biggest and fastest. It releases air much faster than the stock Greddy Blow off Valves that are used by Active Autowerke. Many Supercharged M3 owners who have an active autowerke kit, have moved over to the Tial Q because of its awesome ability to vent air quickly, and its cool sound.
Many of those users tried the HKS sqv blow off valve that I was going to originally use, but discovered that the spring was too hard and the HKS would not open on idle. The BOV must stay open to insure a good idle and only close when the engine begins to rev. As soon as the engine stops revving, the BOV will open again, venting excess air. The BOV must be able to do this very quickly. VF Engineering, whom I acquired the original supercharger kit from, do not use a Blow off Valve. They recirculate the air back into the Supercharger intake pipes using a bypass valve. No cool dump sound. =( We have decided to go full blow off valve with Alpha N software.
That being said, here are the pics.
This is what arrives in the box. First look.
Inside we find the Tial Q 50mm blow off Valve in black, with the Greddy style flange mount to fit my greddy mount on the intake manifold. Then we have a o-ring which sits between the blow off valve and the flange, which is kept secure via a hook clamp.
The intake manifold with original Greddy mount.
The Greddy mount flange sits atop the original greddy mount. The BOV is attached this this adapter.

Now, onto the video. This is the video of the head assembly that was done on the 20th of December last year. Sounds so far away. ha ha.
It's shot in 1080p full HD. So, if you can, watch it in HD on youtube. Looks awesome me thinks..
and as always, Mods, if you can update title. Video and pic update on page 14. Thanks!!!!
