Sorry for only getting back to you guys now...
one word to describe how she feels.
RELENTLESS....
So much more power. So much more response. I can only get on my knees and praise Lysis and A1exander (Alex and Peter) for their outstanding workmanship. The car definitely pulls better. I don't feel that I need to gear down for power and there is a good kick when changing into the next gear.
Very happy.
Thank you soooo DAMN MUCH!
Next step. Vac is sending new locks. They should arrive in the next week. Waiting for a Vanos seal kit from Moranor. Then, FINALLY, the VAC motorsport High Performance Valve kit is going in, as well as the Vanos seals.
Oh... and the supercharger... which might actually be in before the Valve kit. We shall see. All depends if my next pay check comes in soon enough.
So thank you guys for reading this thread and staying positive. I will admit there were times that I wanted to give up. But seeing this skilled workmanship, made me understand that there are people out there who care about a car.
Just a little thing I noticed. The Previous workshop that built my car in December, rebuilt the entire engine and put it back in the car, replaced all the panels, bolts, bumper and lights, in half a day. This is true as I saw the engine the previous afternoon and it was still not fully built. The next day I get a call at 1pm saying the car is ready. So I was mightally impressed at their ability to put the engine back together and in the car so quick... but now since seeing all the oil leaks, the exhaust cam installed incorrectly etc. I am not so impressed.
It took Lysis 2 full days (granted he needed to rethread the cylinder head due to the previous Workshops idiocy). 2 full days to replace the vanos gasket and washers.
Brilliance at work.
