CPT Jan 29th 2012 Meetup - Bring and braai at Killarney race track

As far as I understand it, we agreed to the following (from poll and posts):

- 29th
- West Coast
- Melkbos Road
- Big parking lot close to Melkbos with white sand
- Weber and Skottel to be brought by????

Any guys willing to bring along a braai?

Does anyone know if we are actually allowed to braai there? A lot of those parking areas forbid fires.

Will go and find out should nobody provide input on the subject but trust that "open fire" i.e. fire on soil (not a braai / weber or gas) is indeed not allowed.

But thats not what we intend to do anyways....

Now need volunteers who have weber and skottles

I was thinking of one of those disposable braai's from the garage shops.

Don't know them but if they work..... surely no objection!
All depending on how many people will attend and how big the cow / lamb will be that wants to be on fire :=):

I'll make myself braai master for the day if everyones happy. I marinade my meet with brake fluid for extra taste :thumbs: :rollsmile:

there is defintely a bike track day in the morning which I am definately going to (I have some withdrawls that need to be seen to )

There is a full day track day, the bikes from 9am till 1PM, cars from 1:30PM till 6PM.

What time we scheduling the braai event. We going in convoy or meeting at the braai spot?
