The braai idea is a good choice. Here's my ideas:

Redhill braai area (between Kommetjie and Simons Town)
Tokia forest braai area
Braai area on beach road between Blouberg and Melkbos.

Lets do it either Sun 22 or 29 Jan

Im also in, need a bit of BM in my life. ive been to the place between blouberg and melkbos, not bad, not great. id like to see tokai forest, but hows the roads? my car doesnt like anything higher than a cigarette box:fencelook:

Area between melkbos and blouberg would be good, kids can play on the beach.

29th works for me as well, at least I will be able to braai more than 1 vienna sausage.

Melkbos road braii spots are something to look at. Will go there today and check the place out for space.
Will also take some pics and post here tonight.

(been here.its a nice place...alot of gravel roads and i am not sure your car will like...but really nice place)




Berg River Resort, Paarl
(very over rated place indeed, its always full and lots of funny people there:thumbdo:, its also works out to R150 entry including your car for a day visit. i was there beginning of last year and prices m,ight have gone up. you need to be outside the gates before 7 in the morning as there is a line even before the place), my 2c is its an over rated, over priced sh*t hole

Tokai forest is cool. been tehre on a few breakfast runs already and it was fun, no issues...( i am not sure if alcohol is allowed in any more)

there was an awesome place in steelnbosch we went on a breakfast run to, it had a huge bos braai in the middle where everyone braaied at the same time and could accomodate about 20 peopls meat on the grid alone. lol
