Hey guys..

hope you can help me with this one i always thought my car was chipped but just found out that its not.. i currently cut at 270km each time the car picks up strong till there but it just stops couple of guys told me they run off their clock with their cars de-limted is this true? also they rev to over 8000 were mine only rev till 7800? im really wanna go chip to de-limit and get a bit more of power im in cape town and what chip or software would you guys recommend? My car is bone stock even the exhaust i got on im loosing power at the moment its a cowley exhaust but went to check it out and it was leaking by 5 places, and i my car pulls strong already i can only imagine how it will pull with these minor stuff done, what is the best aftermarket exhaust for the 3.2L i can also get a 3L exhaust which i heard works wonders on the 3.2L is this true as well.

Hope someone can shed some light on this and help our fellow stock ///M's get a bit more power

Can you hear yourself.... Only 7800RPM???????
That is already insanely high and is already 200Rpm higher than what it is supposed to do.
Leave everything stock apart from the front pipes. The 3.0l ones are better since they are cat less, but the 3.2 headers are better than the 3.0 ones

In your other thread you saying that the car is cutting out and 6000rpm, and is missing door beadings, the idle is funny and battery dies, plus there is possibly a bad vanos. It sounds like abit of a hok.

And your priority is to chip the car to see how far it can run over 270?

Now maybe I am wrong, but I would think the person who cant afford missing beadings, probably cant afford to make sure the suspension is up to date, because at 160000km everything is pretty much shot, car will ride like a floppy banana. This is before we even go into tires.

Remember, the e36 only scored 1.5 NCAP stars. Pretty much fatal from 60km/h front offset.

Anyways I'm glad im not on the same road as you are. But keep doing what your doing, because your pushing up the value of my car.

Hello mr perfect

Just a few questions for you:

HOW do YOU know I didn't replace my battery??

HOW do YOU know I didn't replace my beadings??

DID YOU know I service and fault code my vanos??

Yes you seem to know I can't get decent suspension do YOU how much I get paid too??

Is it because I'm a noob on this forum I get replies like this cause this one of the reasons why I'm not a regular on forums cause of people like you.

I wasn't even bother going to reply to this but you seem to know more than I do about my car.

So if we have a faulty battery and the car cuts out only randomly I bought a sick car well fellow ///M drivers according to mr perfect this makes your cars hok as he would put it.

Do you know 3 well know tuners said this is the most healthiest engines they seen? Maybe they were lying and I should take your word for it you seem like the expert.

I never knew if you buy a car with 160km on the clock nothing was to ever break since it left the factory I must of got a hok car.

And who said the chip is priority on my list again where do you come up this assumptions? Is that selective reading perhaps? I'm sure if you go read the post I ask to shed some light on this where did I mention ima go out and go buy one now?

So you telling me no one that has ///M has ever pushed their car hard? If so you really are living in a perfect world.

Now I know everyone is going to take your side since you regular and bla bla but bra don't go gunning down people I'm sure you got better things to do.

If you got nothing nice to say or you can't help on the topic rather say nothing at all.

Moderators should really read your reply and see if its fair that you can just go mokking someone else's car and make assumptions.

Have you ever seen the topic GPS readings guys doing well over 300km true speeds, are they doing on a test track? Sure please show me where this top gear test track is as I would love to go there myself. Why don't you gun them down oh wait they aint noobs like me I forgot.

I am done posting on this forum until people like you gun people down less and less people will bother posting.

Sorry I'm not as perfect as you to buy a fault free car, sorry I'm not as rich as you to buy 100K suspension.

People that actually know I'm not a race whore so what if I race a few friends now and then for some fun. Chipping the car don't mean I wanna do 300km everywhere I go please bru all my cars iv ever built was for self enjoyment not to prove points or race.
But thanks to all the guys who did reply on the topic about the chip someone was decent to pm and answer every single question I posted.

It takes just one mistake when racing a bud.

Don't take offence please, try to understand many of us have been where you are now, we have done the exact same thing for the exact same reasons, and now we realise what a chance we were taking.

We are all moral because we are sick and tired of seeing THIS in Capetown!
