Well anything can be done, and I am sure there are places that will do this for you but you will probably not enjoy it to much considering you will be missing a kidney

With this kind of thing it is best to do it yourself, should be able to find diy's on the internet. It is pretty much just remove the cluster open up solder out the LED's and replace wit the colour of your choice. Though I would recommend doing everything then so that everything looks the same.

Personally I wouldn't do this as the amber BMW uses is for me the best colour for these lights, there is just something BMW about it, and it has a sense of class to it I think, but this is all just my opinions :=):

Silver dials? The grey dial backing of the M3 (not sure if the Ci's had it as well)? Silver dial rings?

I always wondered why the amber instrumentation:
The answer apparently is:
"Why orange dials? Because it’s BMW, and the best colour for legibility. The worst? Blue and red, apparently"

Yes it can be done:

Edit: found a modding page here

Yup apparently it is also has to do with how it affects your eyes at night and the amber leaves the least intense latent image in your eyes when you have quickly look down at the gauges while driving at night.

Just the ones that come in the 330i , they sell on ebay but not certain of how trustworthy that website is .

If I am not mistaken autostyle sells pretty decent quality ones, but they are chrome whereas the 330i ones are like a brushed silver look.

I've seen a diy on an international sight, apparently a big job! but I'd say it was well worth it from the pics I saw.

I looked on their site and could not find for the E46 . Hate chrome too but won't mind painting them silver .
