Changing Angel Eye globes

Hi guys,

Are there any secret tricks to changing these globes on my E90 320d LCI equipped with xenon lights (passenger side specifically)?
My hands are either too big or the globe + holder is stuck in there. I'm considering taking out/moving the power steering reservoir as this seems to be the only way now.

Please help.

I would jack the car up, remove the wheel, and then either remove entire front fender lining or just open the headlight cover on fender lining.

I did that bro, but it seems to be easier working from the top… but for some reason, my I just can’t get a good grip on the globe/holder to loosen it as it seems the power steering reservoir is in the way.

Hoping someone with smaller hands would volunteer to assist me

I finally managed to change the globe.
It seems the easiest (for me) was to move the power steering reservoir. I don't know if it was just that I'm not double jointed enough or my hands are too big :D

Howzit bud, Where did you get replacements from? and if you don't mind, how much did it set you back? My car has popped 2 bulbs on the passenger side which concerns me because I never needed to change the driver side. What size are the bulbs again?

I got them at Goldwagen for R85.
I just bought the normal halogen ‘yellow’ ones.
They’re H8 bulbs (12v 35w).
