I need to replace my front pads soon. Any recommendations?
Anyone use the EBC stuff?
SP33DYV said:I just get them from the dealer near me. They usually give me good discount on pads and discs. Anything from 15%-25%. I just find that the BMW pads work best with BMW discs.

I know that there are different types. Is this for everyday use?
Did you find a different between OEM and this?
SP33DYV said:I've used Bendix before, but find that the Ate pads from BMW have a better initial bite. The Bendix pads need some heat before they bite properly. I am a spirited driver and my pads only last about 20k-25k km's. I always ask the parts salesman for discount. If you don't ask, they will not give you any discount. I have one specific parts salesman I deal with at Auto Bavaria, Jannie.

abmi0000 said:What do the agents use for OEM fitment? ATE, Ferodo? Anyone know?
abmi0000 said:Lots of brake fitment places these days claim that ATE is no longer what they used to be and don't promote this over Ferodo.
What do you guys think?
