Hey Rheet, im just gonna throw this out there, but you dont need brakes to start this monster.....maybe just a hand brick, so it doesnt roll away....hahaha!
Also. to get rid of the black marks on the welds - get hold of some pickling paste and some steelwool, will shine those welds up and get rid of the black spots....
Looking good - Cant wait to hear this animal!!!

pipes arent finished yet, just gave them a rub with a scotchpad to see what the finish is going to resemble. all will be cleaned properly
UPDATE!!!
On Friday I travelled out to Shaun to attempt to start the car for the first time.
We let it prime for a few seconds then turned the key... After 3 swings she roared into life :inlove:
With 5 minutes of fiddling with settings on the car she idled perfectly.
A real testament to Shaun at Level7 Motorsport's talent, how many completely rebuilt engines start after 3 turns??? :thumbs:
Lumpy as all hell and CRAZY loud!!
Week after next she will go to dyno and then she is coming home!

It's amazing what you and Shaun have put into this car to get her where she is today turned the lemon around if it was me would've cut my losses and passed it on Alot of time effort and money put into it :thumbs: congrats she will be a fun car that's been saved, I remember the disappointment in your initial thread on e30clubsa when you purchased the car and now that's turned into excitement :joy:

Great to hear that beast....In a way I am happy and sad....Happy that you got her going, and sad....that its not mine anymore....the sound that motor is making is a taste of things to come...I think the combonation will work out very well...lets hope its tough as nails! I m sure it will be tough!

TEETHING PROBLEMS!!
So after getting the motor running 100% Shaun started going through all the systems of the car. Clutch, brakes etc etc.
The truth about the cars past became apparent. She was just a badly treated poorly maintained E30.:thumbdo:
Both the master and slave clutch cylinders had substantial leaks, brake lines were perished, battery tray doesn't exist and and and.
This car has tested Racing Snakes patience in a big way.
BUT she is slowly but surely being worked through, Shaun has repaired and reconditioned LOTS and while she won't make dyno this week we are hoping for next week.
