After being promised a "official response by close of business tomorrow 23/01/2013."

Nothing...

Anyone have the email address of MD BMW Germany, etc...

Maybe one of those MD gonna respond confirming this BMW new Standards.

I need a good lawyer... I have email proofs, witnesses and letters.

As for the dealership "Supertech Durban" they act like I dont exist now...

" We apologise in the delay herewith and will ensure response submission to you. The stated response letter to your query is awaiting signatures and will be sent to you thereafter. "

I told you so

Start rolling the wheel. go to the Consumer council and yes I know its an effort but you have to start.

Firstly
You give to them in writing of what you want and why and attach the faults of the vechile( the consumer act requirs you to try and resolve this between you and BMW, If this fails you submit all the paperwork to them with dates as proof) You have already tried to resolve this issue but with no success and that you are submitting your papers to the counsumer council.

then also post on BMW SA facebook page

:nonono: THEY WONT RESPOND SORRY.

You have to start the wheel rolling by making it public - if not it will disapear into the woodwork.

Supertech is the worst ITO sales service I have ever received from all the dealers here in Durban. The cakes only bother about the big fishes that come splurging for 5's, 7's etc.

But +1 on making it public. This is the only way you will really get some attention on the matter.
It's utter bullshit really.

dont waste your time with the dealership. they dont care. they will only buckle as a last resort. they are hoping you just accept the situation and go away.

horrible situation as its going to cost you which is so unfair. go to the papers, and radio stations. get this out there - that is all free.

and by the way, changing brands wont change anything. they all operate the same way. i had the same thing with audi.
