BMW Insurance (double debit)

Hey guys

Anyone here with Insurance through BMW Insure? If so, did you get debited twice this month for your insurance?

My debit order with BMW Insure is set for the 1st of the month. Woke up this morning to being debited twice and when trying the call center number about 5 minutes ago, I get the voice recording about them being closed due to a "public holiday" :/

I know there was an emailer from BMW Insure about changing the insurance underwriters so this probably has something to do with it but I need to get into contact with them which seems impossible at the moment.

Yip happened to me, got PSGBMW debit and a BMWIUM debit.

Essentially the same thing, one from previous underwriter for bmw and now the new underwriter PSG.

I’d speak to your bank to pull the money back, will be easier.

Yup, have the same references. Thanks! Didn't think about the bank option, going to give that a try.

I got the same thing. Spoke to IUM and apparently was a fault on their side and they are busy with refunding the moneys... I will call my bank to reverse as well rather than wait for them to refund.

I was with them, and they are going to be underwritten by Santam. Phoned my wife that's a broker with Santam, and got quoted R350pm cheaper, plus got Zero access on my cars, where with them I had to pay R5500 access, never mind the access on my house content and other stuff insured.

I emailed them the paperwork from my wife, and asked if they can equal it as they are going to be with Santam, and I will stay with them, and the reply was:

Good Day

Unfortunately we cannot reduce your premium, we have quoted on our minimum rate with maximum discount.
Kindly advice if you want to continue with the insurance.
