Update:
It was a long Saturday, we learned a lot, we got frustrated a lot but in the end we got a lot done.
I have to admit, I am the least bit DIY capable which doesn't help but google is a wonderful point of reference but also a pain because its like searching for the symptoms of a rash on google and deciding you have a life threatening disease.
One main point myself and my friends learned this week is that if you have a problem, check the fuse box :roflol::roflol::roflol: irrespective of whether the issue was present before.
We started Saturday off late. But we began by fitting the CCFL Rings. After removing the lights, Preshen cleaned the housings and fitted the rings. Reassembled the housings and then did the connection of the left hand side light housing. We tested and the parks weren't working (They were working before we started). So we tried it on the right side which was working. Very strange we thought. Googled and googled and pottered around for about an hour trying to figure it out and eventually a call to Uncle Peter who confirmed that the right and left hand side have different fuses. Thank fully we had spare fuses and Bam we were back in action. As with anything on this car, the lights are so much easier to take off then they are to put back especially the bolt which sits on the passenger headlight under the air ram. That took another half an hour just one bolt.
The CCFL Eyes are extremely bright. The last picture is just the CCFL and parks on. (Without the Lowbeam or HighBeam) I will take some better pictures during the day.
We then decided to look for the Fuse for the Fogs and Voila, We were back in action. Fogs are sorted.
Next was Interior LED Lights. Footwells, Dome, Cubby and Boot fitted with LED.
Then we fitted a JVC HU, (Bluetooth Streaming & Calling) I was a bit worried that this would not work as well as a parrot but I had already purchased it so I did not really have a choice. We also had a few hiccups here, after all the wiring was done, we realized that the deck was not getting power (again the original deck was working not even an hour before). So thinking we did something wrong, we called around from some help. Until eventually my cousin had the bright spark idea to check the fuse. Fuse changed and BAM, Radio on. I will take some pictures of the HU later this week.
We also added a 12inch Hertz Energy to the Mix with a 500w RMS Monoblock.
After Realizing what a bit job it would be to replace the door handle. We decided to respray the handle with Plastidip. BTW R1 fits into the Keyslot like a glove. Will update with an After later on.
One thing I am really struggling with is trying to put the interior rocker panel (I think that is what they are called back on). If anybody knows how to do this and can assist me or give me some tips, please give me a shout.
Just a random Pic
Last but not least a very very big thank you to
@preshen14 for all the assistance on Saturday. Without you I could have never got all of this done. Appreciate it! And also to uncle Peter, Thank you for pointing us in the right direction with the fuses.
