How does the guy use the stolen phones, spares?

Most modern high end phones will be icloud or security locked which is impossible to bypass, I suppose some of the phones had already been wiped by the owner in preparation to sell it when the scammer ran with them but not all?

That's actually something to remember, only factory reset the phone/icloud unlock once the money has been paid.

Takes the hackers sometimes up to 6 months just to jailbreak a new incremental iOS release, no one just bypasses an icloud lock without making a mess of the phone, ie it won't be able to be reactivated on Apple servers, which makes them very unattractive to buyers. An iPhone with touch id and that's icloud locked is just good for spare parts.

My point is there is no link to post.

This guy must be ensuring the phone is icloud unlocked before he runs off with them.

Those who have had phones ripped off by this guy were the devices removed from your icloud account before you got there or before he made a run with them?

A forum member, account name mmmlimbada [link], has scammed a number of fellow forum members out of various cellphones.

He meets up with a seller while his white 440i (no plates) is parked a fair bit away, looks at the phone being sold while with the seller, says he's going to his car to get the cash and somehow slips away with said phone. He then jumps into his car and off he goes.

His name is Muhammed Limbada.

His email address is [email protected]

He apparently stays in Bedfordview.

A quick google of his email address reveals he has a dating profile HERE if you want to log in and view it. It also says he lives in Bedfordview.

He has not used his forum account since 2011. It shows his profile as last visited now in May, but that was me logging into his profile to see if any of his PM's revealed more information. I tried to trace and see if there are other accounts he uses here but I came across no results.
