Cause, she's going to take your money, and she's going to tease you alot...

But its going to cost you way more money to get to the end result.

Okay just a small update.

We went to look at a complete motor yesterday and are happy with it.

It is a import M43 with between 100k and 110k kilos on the clock.

Ok cool then, let me know when you want to collect.

On the actuator, if you take the black housing lid off and pull the motor away from the gearbox so it can spin freely, then connect 12volts directly onto the motor and spin the motor in either direction for 1-2minutes, this will clean the commutator and the brushes, before you spin it add a small squirt of contact cleaner inside the motor and a tiny drop of oil on the bushings on either end, works 9/10 times.

Just a small update.

We have raised a total of R7250

I have also added a few bucks. I sourced a set of headlights and will be getting the last needed parts in the coming week and weekend.

So with us getting so close to the funds last week I did some work on the car.

Firstly it got towed to where I can work on it a bit more.
Gave it a lekker wash and dry and then covered it under a car cover.
I removed the slam tray as to eas the reinstall of the new motor.
Also got the cables for the lights and so out the way.

We will be collecting the motor tomorrow, wil be cleaning and servicing it over the weekend, as well as fix the rust as to install the motor.

Will post some pics of everything tomorrow.
