Hay guys.

Im trying to get the oil and antifreeze sorted.

Would 6 liters of oil and 6 liters premix antifreeze do the trick?

Also I'll need a drop off location.

Some suspect stuff that we found on a quick inspection when the motor was up on the stand.

First up is an oil leak between the timing chain covers/ head and block.

And some oil in the lower air intake

There is some serious cleaning thats going to be done over the weekend as to check for any problems.

Here are some more photos of the engine once we got it home and on the stand

Just want to extend thank to all the guys who donated toward helping Bruce.

We searched high and low to find an engine with the budget we had. We needed a cylinder head but no one would sell the head alone. Everyone we tried had a full working engine, but would not part out the engine just to sell the cylinder head alone. We could only buy the complete engine. After consulting the budget and what it would cost to rebuild Witches broken engine, or buy a complete working engine, we discovered the difference in cost was marginal.

So, to Bruce, I extend to you, all my best wishes going forward with this build. I am proud to be a fanatic after I saw your face yesterday when I handed over the money to you. You looked like a 5 year old boy on Christmas morning. You guys have helped Bruce get his car back.

You can all be proud.

Keep us updated Bruce.

Chris I must second all you said here and must from my side give a great deal of gratitude to you for initiating this. Without you and Peter this would never have happened.

And you are right I still feel like a 5 year old though. Feeling that my witch might run within the next week or two is still unreal.

Will post photos as I make progress both here and in the build thread of the witch

Was that engine being used to power a boat? Lol

Now you have a spare block you can build up on the side if you choose to stay 4 cylinder for future mods.

So I ran into a bit of a complication with the motor. Besides some broken parts found, (luckily I still have most of my parts) the severity of the oxidation on the motor did it's toll on the exhaust manifold and when removing it 2 of the bolts snapped. One just past the manifold and the other right in the head.

Will update a little later with some pictures.

So just a small update and Thanx.

Firstly.........

As some know after today the witch is done and running again.

Sorry for keeping most of you in the dark and unsuspecting with my arrival and revealing today at the dyno event.

Once again from my side a big thanx to Chris and Peter for the initiation of this and to every one who either contributed or assisted in getting her up and running again.

One or two small things still to do but will come in time.

Must say this whole thing couldn't have happened at a better time.

A thread with the photos of the build that it took as I went along and the revealing video as well as some more photos will be up as soon as a chance is found.

Rep will be added to all who helped.
