You absolutely need to replace that radio with the original Grundig unit, for originality

Good E36's in pristine and original condition are becoming scarce

Had a terrible morning... I saw this car stop at the last minute and swerved to avoid, hit it on the corner.

While it is drive-able, i had it towed for assessment and repairs via my insurance.
