Below are the pics of my new daily (MK1- 1.4)... got it about a month ago.

The car has done just 32 000KMs and hope it will be a reliable work horse, and give my beloved coupe (Bantlhoile) some well deserved break... :rollsmile:

my polo is 12 years old and is about to hit 400k with the least amount of maintenance

Yep, I have had the 320 for more than 3 years...
To answer your question Nuk, because the MK1 is small and cheaper to maintain. I don't think I will spend the same amount of money to maintain the vw like I am currently spending to maintain the beemer... yes it is a 320 but it is still expensive to maintain in comparison...

I am still financing the beemer, but it has just under 2 years and it will be paid off... I saved to buy the golf and have been looking for one since December last year, until i found this one...
My wife now uses the beemer than me, but i still very much like that car... i would like to keep the 320 a little longer

Cone filters are for big boys, not everybody can handle that kinda mulepower. Not even a BMW driver

I am paying for both my cars still, and it does not bother me at all.
Given one car is for me, and one for the wife, we are however working at the same company, so only using one at a time. Some people might reason I can put the one installment into my house. Yes the Hyundai does Monday to Friday, the Dodge weekends, holidays and longer trips only, but so long it does not hurt my pocket its fine be me, at least when she wants to go somewhere and I want to go somewhere else, we don't have to argue about it. And I bought the Accent for her, so if it gets sold it wont be my call.
