Tehcnically unleaded should not give you white/grey pipes, this is the second time I have seen it.

When you remove your oil filler can you see any typical lead powder deposits in it from the old days? I ask as this car is very low mileage and it might be residual lead working it's way out of the engine.

By the way lead may be bad for humans but it's awesomely good stuff for car engines :rollsmile:

And whilst I'm on the topic LRP (MMT technology) that replaced leaded is the most horrible s^$%t I have ever seen and leaves the ugliest thick brown deposits all over the inside of the engine.

I'm sure LRP wont hurt your engine at all, but boy does it leave ugly deposits.

I am not sure how lead powder deposits would look like:nonono:

However - My ex black and the white e34 M5 could do the same with normal 95 ULP.
With repeated WOT sessions for X seconds/minutes, the pipes becomes this brownish white color.
I have seen many race cars with normal pump ULP and obviously no cats doing the same

If you do have cats and you used LRP, they will be busted.
