advise on e36 diffs

M3 was not the same size diff as the other e36 models, it was the biggest and it was a lsd

The coupe 3L M3's diff is the same size and will fit any E36 afaik, but the 3.2L the sedan is different.

My '95 328 Auto had a 3:46 diff in it as standard.

Checked out a few diffs this weekend and finally got my 3.64 !!!

manual 316i - 3.46
manual 318i - 3.46
manual 320i - 3.46
325i auto - 3.46
328i auto - 3.64
The auto diffs were already out so the guy might have been confused lol. But all these diffs are the same size casing

So I think that all non m diffs are the same size and interchangable

I called a few places I paid R2100 which is quite high but it was worth it in my opinion

I know of this place that is selling one for R2500. If you interested let me know and I will try find you the number if I havent lost it
