So after putting up with the 4-spoke Alpina wheel for years, recovering it at great cost and still hating it.... It was time to bite the bullet, here, a small and f***ing expensive, but oh so pretty update; The BEST steering wheel for any pre-airbag BMW.

Nice skank.. Nice!! My mtech1 course spline wheel was bought in Germany at a socalled bargain..but was still 4k.... Be keen to know what this beauty set u back.... Im guessing 6k or thereabouts... We need to do a photoshoot sometime.. I know of a mint mint maroon e28 528i in jhb and my e28 528i also a minter... Would make a gr8 oldskool shoot

Nope, it SHOULD have been just shy of R7k, land just short of R5k.

From a german guy called Wolfe, he runs a parts shop called.... sorry I forget!

But this isn't a horrific price

Small update. Got rid of that nasty overflow tank, brightens the bay a little.

Sadly this is likely to be the last update, but anyway...

So I had been running with the 10.5x17j 3 piece Folgar wheels, while weighing nothing and looking stunning I felt going down to 16j would be a more comfortable ride with our crappy roads. Wanting to keep the aggressive offsets I took a set of old 15.5j TRX BBS RA207s and had them built up to 16j and widened.

As you can see they turned out beautifully. I had also sourced some E24 only projector headlights from the UK and moved the yellow French highbeams on to them.

Lastly, new rubbers, chrome and a fresh coat of paint for the front bumper.
