330i E46 good buy?

I am thinking of purchasing a E46 330i, just would like to know from some of you who had experience with the car how reliable it is and costs of maintaining.

Also will it be easy to find one where I can get a warranty with it and what are the common issues. Does the power stay or do you have to keep tuning it to keep it up to speed? What sort of mods are possible to gain some extra kw's?

It depends on what has to be done, but the routine maintenance things are not that expensive. Fuel consumtion is good for both intown and long distance driving, but you have to remember that it is a 3l engine so consumption depends a loot on your right foot

If you want to buy just be sure to have it checked out properly, and check in the 3 series forum there is stickied thread about the common issues with the 3-series
