GeeMan has the leak stopped?

After today it has, I realised there was leak from the gasket between oil filter housing and the heat exchanger. I replaced it today and all seems good but I still suspect the valve stem seals.

Nice link. Very helpful.
I need to print this as will be spending whole saturday with the car. Service and checking all the places for oil leaks.

Thanks man.

Are you getting any burning oil smell? If so then there are a couple of places to start with. Replace the following
1. Head gasket
2. O rings (vacuum pump, cam sensors, etc)
3. Profile gaskets (oil filter housing, heat exchanger, etc)
4. Oil separator

Got the same problem!
* Pull-offs the goes the white smoke.
* Idle for about 10mins the goes the a huge cloud of smoke.
* Rev it up to 3000rpm the smoke changes from exhaust to the engine now.
* The smell of burnt oil is also there throw the vents!

BMW dealers and Car Service City say +/- 15 000k (Labour 11 000k, parts 4000k) just to change:
1. Valve Stem Seal
2. Profile gasket
3. Gasket flange
4. Oil separator
5. Vent hose
6. Connecting line
7. Return pipe
Don't know what to do.

E90 320i 2007, 128000KM.. I took it to Ross Duncan workshop in Midrand. Told them its been chowing a lot of oil and they told me about Valve Stem Seals need be replaced. They showed me a smoke coming out, after 7min of idling the engine. Will cost me about R7000 to do it....fair price for this kind of job?

Parts price seems spot on, but why pay that much for labour? Try find another reputable workshop if your car is out of plan.
Phone around, you bound to find a better deal.
