Hi Guys,
So continuing with the spring-in-winter cleaning, this past weekend the engine bay got a thorough clean.
Now newer cars are much easier, they are mostly water tight and do not attract the same dirt as older engines (Newer cars have mostly road dirt compared to oil / grease etc...)
Here's what we started with:
First step was to inspect the engine bay and come up with a POA, after having a look around, I decided that no heavy chemicals were required, so reached for some AF Citrus Power and Avalanche snow foam.
if you look closely, you can actually see the snow foam dissolving the dirt.
This was then agitated with several tools before being rinsed with the HP washer.
Finally AF Dressle was sprayed generously throughout the bay and left to soak in. I love the OEM nourished finish it achieves.
And some afters:
Then it was time for her weekly wash

Hi Guys,
So... got bored of the brushed alu trim, just felt like it let the interior down. First option I thought of was CF, but that can look cheap at times. I wanted a more modern, OEM look while still retaining the sportiness. Decided on an anthracite finish similar to the image below (minus the texture)
After a long search, I found the correct type of vinyl in the right colour...

Still have a few more details to get done, including the red button and some gloss black stuff, but I'm surprised at how much of a difference it made! Many vinyl wrapping lessons were learned though.

Car is looking tops - I'm also looking for similar Vinyl to cover up the wood trim - where did you end getting them and how many meters did you end up using?
