So this past week while visiting a friend, I decided it was a good time to justify OEM splitters by wrecking my current ones :thumbdo:

Immediately messaged @FiRi@Rennzport who assisted in supplying an OEM set (I was never happy with how the A/M set fitted). Epic service as usual from him.

From just looking at them, I can already see a massive difference in quality. Hopefully fitment happens this weekend.

Also attended our local Cars,Coffee & Doughnuts event with some of the crew

Was never a fan of the matte plastidipped kidneys, so thought it was time to try something..

Centers painted gloss black

Surrounds wrapped in an anthracite vinyl

Love the subtle difference.. And then lastly, more car parts arrived this morning :smilebounce:

Car is booked in tomorrow for fitment, quite excited to see how this turns out...

Hi All,

Dropped off the splitters at Detail Xcellence for some PPF treatment before fitting, just some extra insurance now that the car is lowered :smilebounce:

On Saturday, I dropped off the car at Dubcorp for H&R fitment, not knowing what to expect in terms of ride height / fitment.

Well here are some after shots :smilebounce:

Really happy with the new ride height, exactly what I was after. In terms of ride quality it's just as good, if not better than stock.

Received my splitters back today, this STEK PPF is quality indeed. Finish looks completely OEM. Now to find the time to fit them :fencelook:

Hi All,

Finally had some time this weekend to fit the replacement splitters.

All in all, the fitment is obviously MUCH better than the replicas. There is also a slight difference in design. Some after shots:

Then something that has bothered me for a while was the dust that collected over time in the third brake light housing, removed and cleaned using glass cleaner:
