So continuing with the spring-in-winter cleaning, this past weekend the engine bay got a thorough clean.
Now newer cars are much easier, they are mostly water tight and do not attract the same dirt as older engines (Newer cars have mostly road dirt compared to oil / grease etc...)
Here's what we started with:
First step was to inspect the engine bay and come up with a POA, after having a look around, I decided that no heavy chemicals were required, so reached for some AF Citrus Power and Avalanche snow foam.
if you look closely, you can actually see the snow foam dissolving the dirt.
This was then agitated with several tools before being rinsed with the HP washer.
Finally AF Dressle was sprayed generously throughout the bay and left to soak in. I love the OEM nourished finish it achieves.
