Silly squid smileys aside, lets get back to things that matter...
I picked up a key/ews/dme from a 2000 330i auto and installed them, you can feel the difference in power, even on the clutch control, harder to stall it on 330i software. The downside is that I only have one key for it so either I get another key made up so the car at least has a working spare key or else I need to have Gert upgrade the 325i DME with 330i software. Im going with the latter as it's the best way of doing it.

Here is the 330i key/ews/dme that I will end up not using.

Lastly, some fanatics asked for pics with my dogs in the touring. How about these?

That 330d sedan in the background belongs to a fanatic and is in for an auto-to-manual 6spd conversion btw.

Nice...you must keep the 330i key/ews/dme for my future (way into the future) M54 engine swap.

Doggo's love wagons!

Update: Steering rack has just been reconditioned by R&R Steering due to ATF leaks on either end. Shaft was re-chromed too.

Picked up a brand new set of meyle HD front control arm bushes.

I also picked up a new meyle HD propshaft coupling and also oem gearbox selector shaft seal and output shaft seal as I have noticed an oil leak from the rear of the box. Will finish those items up tomorrow.
