Bud I actually think the original 17"s would be my first choice, the 18's look great but for some reason I think the 17's may look a bit better. In terms of the tyres for the 18's, 255 flush at the rear would get my vote.

The 18's do look good though now that I've had a second look:rollsmile:

Elton this thread is going to bankrupt me or get me divorced :biglol:

Hahaha Prevan....
Sell the wife to slavery, then no bankruptcy or divorce but cash for cars.
Joking. Family first. Maybe she will love it as much as you do in the end.
And if you do go overboard spending, nothing a pair of shoes for her can't fix lol

Hello Fanatics,Just got a gap in my day to post a few pics,
And thanks for all your support,
I had a day of fault finding you know how that goes with these types of high tech cars that we drive and my customers own (some friends too). This is one that had some major problems and I got it stripped so let me show you what a X5M looks like in a million parts....
(sorry about posting a X5M on this page I'm still trying to get into this):bangdesk:
Chat soon.

Now for the M3 (the first one I worked on for Elton) .....
This is a quick history of the build and we enjoy fixing parts Because then we know how they work in the system,
We are not new part fitters,I train my staff that works with me how electronic parts work and how to fault find them when they stop working.

And one Guy in the group pic got a M3 as a gift that fine day !!!

ENJOY

Do elaborate on the fault on the X5M, and why you stripped it bare! :dropjaw:

Hello 444YYY,

I got it stripped and some of the parts were missing so I had to lay it all out and find all the missing parts and order them at the dealer,
And the reason it was stripped was that it's CAT's (had a Flame) and the sound mat was very close to it and thats how you burn a X5M,it melted the complete main wiring harness and the hole dash with all its screens,so somebody tried (DIY) but this is NOT FUNNY ( high tech full on).....:argh:

Second M3,
some pics of the build.

We strip it ,clean it , brush it ,coat it , service and do the extra's that our customers need and we have all the photo's on a disc after the job is done so my customers feel like they are part of the team and so show there mates and keep a record of the car and the work that has been done and at what LEVEL...

ENJOY FANATICS...

I just took some time to read through this entire thread for the first time!
I want to say a HUGE thank you to Elton and Bruce! Elton, your passion and appreciation is inspirational, in fact the entire story outlined in this thread is inspirational and your cars are truly magnificent! Would be honoured to meet you one of these fine days, am also in the area stalking Crash and Gareth!
AS for Bruce, your attention to detail, meticulous hours spent on the cars shows! Its truly amazing what time and effort and knowledge can do to a machine! Epic EPIC EPIC work! The way you work on other peoples cars is the way I would want to work on my own, and if as planned, I one day have a "boutique" garage, I would want the work to be carried out on other peoples cars!
I thank the both of you for taking the time to share this with us mere peasants!
Definitely sub'd to this thread from here on out!
